Woman: “You know, I really want to help people. But there’s so much pain and hurt in the world, I don’t even know where to begin!”
Nancy: There are needs everywhere. It was the same in Jesus' time. How did He set priorities?
We can get an idea by reading Mark 1: “ Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed” (verse 35).
The disciples finally found Jesus, expecting Him to minister to the large crowds in the city where they were. But Jesus said, “Let’s go on to the next city.” He was quiet enough to discover His Father’s priorities for that day.
This is what you and I need to do through time in prayer and in God’s Word. If you have ever felt like you don’t know what God …
