Até mesmo um cavalo?

Nancy : When I was growing up, my dad would get us together as a family every year and challenge us to make some New Year's resolutions.

He would tell us that if we kept them all year long, we could have anything we wanted. I remember saying, "Even a horse?" That was the biggest thing I could think of to ask for. And he said, "Even a horse, if you keep your New Year's resolutions all year long."

He knew what it took us years to learn... on our own, we could not keep our resolutions. Our willpower is weak, and it is only the Spirit of God that enables us to do anything good.

But he also knew it would be beneficial for us to assess the areas where we needed to grow and seek improvements. Maybe you don’t promise your kids a horse, but have you challenged them to make any resolutions this year?
